It's always great to hear from actors. When contacting us, please include your showreel, Spotlight link (or CV) and your bases. 

Please be aware that we usually aim to work with Sheffield and North Lincolnshire based actors.

We recommend keeping your email short and direct- we don't need a big essay, just a quick introduction!

We ask that you include your CV, showreel (if applicable), bases and what area of production you work in or are interested in. When building a production, it's very hard to consider somebody if we don't know where you want to be! You don't want us to place you under the director, if you're wanting to work under the DOP, do you?

Please keep emails specific and to the point. Note~ we prioritise Yorkshire and Lincolnshire based crew when building our crews.

You certainly can, however we cannot promise we'll see it! DMs are not monitored, therefore you are much more likely to get a response from us via email.

We try to ensure our call outs are as accessible as possible.

We have a casting page right here on our website, or alternatively, we'll post them on social media.

You can subscribe on our news page to receive an email within 15 minutes of a call out going live.

Depending on the size of our project, we may on occasion cast according to our current contacts; to increase the likelihood of us getting in touch, we recommend sending us an intro email.

We don't post call outs for directors; if you're a director looking to work with us, contact us directly and we will be in touch if there's something fitting.

Evening Cat Productions is tiny team, therefore occasionally emails slip through the net!

If you haven't heard from us after six weeks, you're welcome to try us again. Please don't send repeat emails within a six week period; our response time varies according to current projects and volume of emails.

If you're interested in collaborating with us, we ask that you initially send a short introductory email, which includes a brief synopsis of the script, the script and, if approaching us as a writer/director, a pitch deck.

If we are interested in developing the script, we will be in touch. Should we reject the script, please do not be disheartened; it may be that we are already developing something similar, or that we are not the right people to produce the script!

We cannot guarantee feedback on every script we receive. 

Hint: We tend to produce female-led stories, based in either Lincolnshire or Sheffield!

Should we take on a script, the writer will maintain full credit over the physical script and shall be credited fully as such, including after development.
